Photographer
I am a Three Rivers, CA resident that has been studying and working in photography since 1980. I had my start working with 35mm film and black and white enlarging. While in college I started working with large format cameras, still in black and white.Recently I have chosen to move to a Digital SLR while trying to maintain the image quality achieved with film. I chose my camera (Cannon D6 mark 2) and lenses(Cannon L series) to provide a high quality file to work with. I print all of my photos myself using archival papers and the latest Epson pigment based inks to make a long lasting color print. I try to maintain the photographic process that I learned in the lab as I move to the digital photograph. My intent is to give you the image as I saw it in the field. As you look through my photographs you will see a variety of styles, from wildlife to landscape. My favorite photos continue to be those that show the natural/ or man made world as an almost abstract image of pattern and color.

Print Sizing
Size of print is listed as "printed on" a specific size paper. That does not mean the print area is that size. I crop images based on getting what I see as the best image rather than staying with a specific format. From there, I leave a border of unprinted area to aid in framing the picture properly. This usually means a border of at least one inch although for some prints I leave 3/4 of an inch. This means that if a print is offered printed on 13 x 19 it will have a width of up to 11 inches and a height of up to 17 inches depending upon the ratio of the image as I chose to crop it.
At the current time I offer prints in four sizes.
